ISI

The ISI Web of Science is the Web interface for institutional sitewide access to the ISI Citation products which cover over 8,000 international journals in the sciences, social sciences, and the arts and humanities. The Web of Science is an integrated research environment with extraordinary flexibility, navigation, and functionality. Capabilities never offered electronically before include the ability to:

  • "Navigate forward in time" by dynamically tracking how many times an article has been cited since publication
  • "Navigate across time" to find an unlimited number of relevant items which share one or more cited references through Web of Science's Related Records function
  • "Navigate backwards in time" by reviewing Cited References that link to a full record display
  • Search all cited authors, not just first authors for articles in the database
  • Search data back to 1945!

ISI Current Contents Connect (CC Connect¬) is a multidisciplinary current awareness Web resource, providing access to complete bibliographic information of over 8,000 of the world's leading scholarly journals and more than 2,000 books. CC Connect also offers the ability to search a premium selection of scholarly Web sites fall into one of three categories: Preprints, Research Activities, and Funding Information.

The multidisciplinary ISI Basic Indexes include the ISI Basic Science IndexTM which covers over 800 of the worlds science and technical journals and the ISI Basic Social Science IndexTM, which covers over 500 of the worlds leading social science journals. The collections are Web-based introductory research tools for students and faculty of four-year colleges. This resource provides access to complete current and retrospective bibliographic data, author abstracts, cited references, and other critical research information.
