RefWorks

RefWorks is an Internet-based bibliography and database manager that allows users to create a personal database by importing references from text files or online databases. They can use these references in writing papers and automatically format the paper and the bibliography in seconds.

We will demonstrate the following:

• Adding references by importing or typing in manually
• Various methods for searching the database
• Creating a paper and formatting it with a bibliography
• Exporting data for back up or use with other programs

We will also discuss the benefit of an Internet-based solution to bibliographic management.
