Primary Responsibilities: 
  • Provide responsive customer service and foster vendor relations to facilitate SCELC institutions’ e-resource eJournal collection development, including eJournals, eJournal packages and additional purchase and subscription products including renewals from those publishers
  • Provide information on and clarification of eJournal package contents and licensing terms
  • Participate in vendor advisory boards, standards organizations, discussion lists and committees which help SCELC both understand and influence the broader library community and eJournal publishing market
Favorite SCELC Achievements: 
  • Being part of the team that has created and updated the eJournal package term summaries, and the annual subscriber letters, now posted in ConsortiaManager, to help inform SCELC libraries of the intricacies of the complex eJournal packages
  • Helping to implement ConsortiaManager so libraries have a window into their SCELC acquisitions
  • Collaborating to transform the SCELC Shared Print Program from vision to implementation, with over 50 libraries participating and benefitting
